Calzaturificio Lancio was founded in 1976 by Alberto Lanciotti who, attracted since he was young by the world of artisanal footwear, has made this passion his reason for living even today.
At the age of 19, Alberto Lanciotti started a small artisan workshop together with his parents and his two brothers and gradually began to recruit his first valid collaborators.
With its marked propensity for taste and thanks to its creative streak, the company gained momentum and developed first on the Italian market and gradually on the main Northern European markets until, today, it is recognized and appreciated by the sector a bit all over the world.

In addition to its historic brand, the Lancio shoe factory is now a partner of some important luxury brands for the development of samples and production, a clear sign of great professionalism, seriousness and undisputed holder of 100% made in Italy artisan techniques.

70's

The Origins of the Launch

Alberto Lanciotti, with the help of his father, his mother who already worked in the footwear field and another precious collaborator, starts his own artisan workshop in the garage under the house, in Montegranaro in the heart of the Marche footwear district, home of men's footwear. Here begins the story of the Lancio brand which is a truncation of his surname.

90's

A Solid Presence in Italy and Northern Europe

A Solid Presence in Italy and Beginning of Opening in Foreign Markets.

On the threshold of the first 20 years of activity, his wife Fuliana also joined the family business. Lancio is now a consolidated reality in the men's footwear market in Italy and is starting to receive the first requests from foreign markets. Thanks to international trade fairs, such as Micam, it is among the best producers of Made in Italy.

2005

Third generation in the company with Ivan Lanciotti

The experience of seriousness and reliability, acquired in 30 years of history, combined with a collection that expresses the best stylistic research and manufacturing quality, create the basis for a new success.
With the entry of the third generation into the company with the son Ivan, the foundations are laid for further development that materializes in new and ambitious growth projects. This is how new product lines are born that are no longer just classic, but attentive to the evolution of tastes and international fashion trends. Among these are the “Lancio Sport” and the “Cult Collection” for special occasions and ceremonies.

2012

A New Brand Image with Elisa Lanciotti

With the entry into the company of the second daughter Elisa, a new brand image is born that enhances, through digital platforms, the strongly artisanal approach of each shoe, the result of careful and manual workmanship that guarantees very high quality. Quality and materials in respect and attention to MADE in ITALY of which Alberto Lanciotti and the Lancio company have always been promoters and admirers. The story continues with the same commitment as always but with new and attractive proposals.
